
This course is focused on enabling learners to apply theoretical concepts and knowledge gained in their media and communications Associate Degree. Learners have a choice of engaging in a real project for a client or an internship at the advice of the lecturer. Either experience is expected to be immersive and expose learners to the reality of work in this area as they decide on their career paths.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course learners will be able to
1. Applying academic knowledge, and practical skills and competencies to professional
settings.
2. Identify requirements of industry for career advancement.
3. Reflect on practicum experiences.
4. Gain opportunities to develop and maintain professional relationships.
