Welcome to Electrical Installation Level II.
This course covers an the application of electrical theory as well as trade skills to industry standards.
Students will also be exposed to Electrical Standards from local regulations and as well as an entry level of IET wiring regulations BS 7671 associated with the following
-Various terminologies and accessories used in within the industry
-Protection against electric shock, thermal effects, overcurrent, overvoltage and undervoltage
-Current rating of conductors and voltage drop of cables
-Types of insulation
-Wiring of basic sub circuits from a main panel (Lighting, power, and receptacles)
- Installation of PVC conduit systems (Bends, terminations)
